General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The two weeks duration severe coughing bouts making you breathless... needs to be investigated it can be...
- Eosinophilia following an allergic cough with bronchitis giving you all these symptoms (to be diagnosed by blood differential count).

This would get relief with a specific drug to reduce allergic response.
- the streptococcal throat can give such a prolonged & believing condition. Specific pathological tests confirm it to be followed by a suitable antibiotic for relief.

Please consult an ENT/chest specialist for expert advise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale,
